Evgeniya is a Germany based freelance photographer, videographer and journalist, who’s focuses are travel, people’s stories, destination weddings and adventurous lifestyle.
Her works have been published in Vogue Australia, National Geographic Russia, L’Officiel Voyage, Brides UK, Hello, Kinfolk, Conde Nast Traveler, Vogue, Frankie Mag AU, Tina Mag, The Noisetier, Veter Mag, Style Me Pretty, Travel and Leisure etc.
Throughout her career she has worked with such renown brands and hotels, as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Wedding Magazine, Virgin Limited, Sony, Barilla and others.
She is passionate about visual storytelling and sees her mission as a photographer, who can create a special story of a brand, a person or a place, that clients will remember and can identify with.
Bio
Let’s dig into history
Zhenya started her way in photography in 2012 while studying journalism in Moscow State University. She succeeded on a wedding market in Russia, was named one of the best Wedding Photographers in the country by Wedding Vibes in 2016 and 2017 and later in 2018 she started conquering international market, found her passion for traveling and wrote for different travel magazines (Veter Mag, Frankie Mag, L’Officiel Voyage). She kept shooting weddings around the globe, while working on Special Projects (Mercedes-Benz in Namibia, Virgin Limited in South Africa, workshops in Italy, Morocco, Portugal). Her main subjects of photography were people and experiences in unique places of the world, exclusive hotels and travel related brands with conscious approach.
In February 2020 she got a freelance visa and moved to Germany, continuing developing photography and videography skills. Throughout the pandemic she started working more with german brands as a content creator on CherryDeck, publishing photo travel guides of the places she has been to and finding her way as a travel writer and videographer featuring her work on her IG account with more than 112 000 followers.
Vision & Philosophy
Zhenya’s stories and projects are always based on special and gentle connection between people and nature, human’s relationships and travel adventures. She is passionate about shooting in unique environments and venues across the world, especially such as East Africa, where she finds most of her travel journeys from.
As a wedding photographer, she finds her focus on revealing couples’ unique individuality, the magic of their relationship and capturing this Special Day with attention to details, personal approach, timeless and sophisticated looks.
